Maria Rosa

María Rosa, a native of Havana, Cuba, embodies the vibrant spirit of her homeland. She began her guiding career during her final year of college, balancing it with her studies. After earning her degree, María Rosa taught at the University of Havana while continuing to guide part-time, eventually transitioning to full-time guiding—a role she found deeply fulfilling as it combined her love of teaching with her passion for adventure. It was during a kayaking trip that she met her husband, joining the ROW Adventures Family of Companies soon after.

Since 2016, María Rosa has been a vital part of Adventure Unbound , first from Cuba and now from Portland, Oregon, where she resides with her husband and their four beloved Cuban rescue pets. Her journey is a testament to her adventurous spirit and dedication to sharing her rich culture and love for the outdoors with others.
