Diana Martin Campillo
Whale Watching & Sea Kayaking Guide
Born and raised in Cuba, Diana’s fascination with marine life began at just six years old when she saw a dolphin for the first time. That early spark guided her through a degree in Biology in Cuba and a Master’s in Marine Resources Management in La Paz, Baja California Sur, where she focused her research on the reproduction of sea turtle barnacles.
Her scientific curiosity and love for the ocean naturally led her into guiding. For the past three years, Diana has worked as a kayak guide and a scuba diving instructor, sharing her deep knowledge of marine ecosystems with guests from around the world. Whether she’s leading a paddle through the turquoise waters of Baja or diving alongside playful sea lions, her passion for marine life shines through every experience she leads.
When she’s not guiding, Diana loves creating crochet clothing, dancing the night away, and spending time with her friends and family. A former high-performance swimmer, she’s always been most at home in the water. For her, every day outdoors is a gift. It's a chance to connect with nature, meet people who share her love of adventure, and show others the beauty and biodiversity of Baja’s wild landscapes.
